He resided in Asia for two decades and has been a leader in strategic designs for data-based health programs. He is the founder and CEO of Health Systems Thinkers.
Nabeel Akram
Dr. Nabeel Akram is a public health physician at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He directed JHPIEGO, a maternal and child health NGO, across Asia Pacific for 15 years, working with multiple donors, local governments and clinicians and national agencies.
Stephen F. Cummings
Dr. Steve Cummings is a family physician whose career in Vietnam with the US State Department and USAID led him to create family medicine as a formal discipline across Southeast Asia. He has negotiated with multiple Ministries of Health, international donors, and local medical leaders.
Chinwe Okala
Dr. Chinwe Okala is a public- and occupational-health physician in Lagos, Nigeria. She has led community programs addressing tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and maternal child health, and global programs addressing COVID-19.

The Gallus Edge is led by David Elliott, an economist with expertise in a markets-based interventions to fix failing services among vulnerable populations in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. The Gallus Edge helps HST apply insights into how supply and demand factors function in community health.
